Q: Does the price include set up and delivery?
A: Yes, although additional fees may apply for some areas.
Q: When do you set up?
A: That depends on how many rentals we have that day. Generally we arrive within the hour prior to when the rental time begins. If we have a lot of rentals that day, we may need to set up earlier.
Q: Are your inflatables clean?
A: We work very hard to make sure our equipment is always something we are proud to bring to you. Every unit is cleaned when it is taken down or it is set back up and cleaned after every use.
Q: Do I need an attendant?
A: There should ALWAYS be an adult supervising any inflatable. The most important duties of an attendant are limiting the number of children in or on the inflatable at one time, making sure that the children are of similar size and controlling the behavior of all participants. If you need to hire an attendant, contact us.
Q: Do we have to keep it plugged in the entire time?
A: Yes. A blower keeps air in the jump unit the entire time. Once unplugged they deflate. That‘s why we require an outlet within 50´ of the unit or a generator. Longer cords can pop your circuit breaker so we bring our own heavy duty cords.
Q: What about parks? Do parks have electricity?
A: Parks are a great place for inflatables but most parks do NOT have electricity. If you want to set up at a park, you may need to rent a generator. We rent generators at a reasonable cost. We can only take a reservation at a park if you have a specific site reserved. Some parks do not allow inflatables and others have specific requirements.
Q: What payments do you accept?
A: Cash or Check. If paying by cash, please have exact change as our drivers do not carry cash.
Q: What if we need to cancel?
A: You can cancel for any reason until 2 weeks prior to your reservation or up to four hours prior to your start time if due to inclement weather. You may reschedule or your deposit may be refunded.
Q: Do you require a deposit?
A: All orders over $500.00 require a 20% deposit.
Q: How big are the Bounce Houses?
A: Most of our units have a bouncing area of 15´x15´ and require a level area 20x25x18 for set up. Please note the size of each Bounce House when considering which unit to rent. When in doubt, measure your space to make sure it will fit. Jumps need room to be staked and they need room for the blower and can´t rub against walls or trees as this may damage the Bounce House.
Q: What about the Combo Units? Any special requirements?
A: Make sure you have at least a 3' wide path to access the area where it will be set up. The jumps can weigh anywhere from 250 to 500 pounds so we need a clear path with ample room.
Q: What surfaces do you set up on?
A: We can set up on Grass (our favorite and best for the kids) or concrete. Sorry, we can´t set up on any type of rock, sand or mulch as the constant rubbing will wear through the vinyl jumps.
Q: Are we responsible for the unit if it gets a tear or is damaged in any way?
A: Yes and no. You are not responsible for normal wear and tear on our units. Seams may develop tears in high traffic areas over a period of time. If this happens please alert us at once so we can remedy the situation. If however, damage occurs due to failure to follow our safety rules or negligence (i.e. not turning off the blower in high winds) you will be responsible for all damages up to and including replacement of the unit/blower etc. which can cost thousands of dollars. We don´t want you or us to be in that situation which is why we have you sign and initial on all of our safety rules so that you can be the trained operator.
Q: What are the rules when using a bounce house or inflatable?
A: Generally speaking, no food or drink, no shoes, no sharp objects, no visible metal zippers, no medical conditions including pregnancy, no wresting/roughhousing, no hanging on the netting, no flips, NO SILLY STRING and NO Sand. We will provide a safety overview upon arrival.
Q: Are Bounce houses safe?
A: Yes, if they're used properly. Our own children use these units and safety is a priority. Our Bounce Houses are constructed to be as safe as possible. As with any activity involving small children, an adult should supervise the activity. This will help to insure that the few simple rules continue to be followed and that someone is always there to assist children entering and exiting the Bounce House. All of our Bounce houses have finger-safe netting on all four sides to allow for great visibility and air circulation. The bounce house is either staked into the ground or secured with heavy sandbags.
Q: What should I expect on the day of the party? How does the process work?
A: We will deliver and set up the unit at a prearranged time. Before and during setup we will discuss placement options for the unit, review the rental agreement, and go over any questions regarding safety, proper use, and any other topic you wish to discuss. We will collect payment as well.
